1. Introduction

BibleLock ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information related to the BibleLock iOS application. We take privacy seriously and believe in transparency about our data practices.

  • Browsing history or device identifiers
  • Photos, videos, or other media from your device

We may collect:

  • Anonymous analytics data through Firebase Analytics to understand app usage patterns, such as which features are most popular, crash rates, and general engagement metrics. This data is anonymized and does not identify you personally.
  • Crash reports through Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs and improve app stability. Crash reports do not contain personal information.

3. How We Use Information

We use the anonymous analytics and crash data collected to:

BibleLock stores the following data locally on your device using SwiftData and UserDefaults:

  • Your verse progress and memorization records
  • Puzzle completion history
  • App preferences and settings

This data never leaves your device. It is not synced to our servers, not backed up to iCloud, and is not accessible to anyone but you. If you uninstall the App, this data is deleted from your device.

5. Third-Party Services

Apple Screen Time and FamilyControls API:BibleLock uses Apple's Screen Time framework and FamilyControls API to lock apps behind scripture memorization puzzles. All Screen Time data is managed entirely by Apple on your device. BibleLock does not access, transmit, or store your Screen Time or FamilyControls data. Apple's privacy policies govern how this framework operates.

Firebase:We use Google Firebase for anonymous analytics and crash reporting. Firebase may collect limited diagnostic information in accordance with Google's privacy policies. Firebase authentication uses anonymous sign-in only—we do not collect email addresses or create user accounts. Learn more at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
